OCCA, in collaboration with WEBC (Women’s Enterprise Centre of BC) and BDC (Canada’s official government financial agency for entrepreneurs), is conducting an initiative to better understand and help the needs of small and medium-sized business owners, as well as individuals planning to start a business across British Columbia.
This session will provide practical guidance and expanded 1-on-1 support for women entrepreneurs and racialized minority founders.
Please arrive by 9:45 AM so we can begin promptly.
Our goal is to provide more comprehensive and sustainable support for entrepreneurs, including:
. • Financing and capital planning
. • Business operations and growth strategy
. • Market development and brand promotion
. • Digital transformation and technology adoption
. • Leadership and team capacity development
In addition, OCCA will provide professional, confidential, and free advisory support to immigrant entrepreneurs, and will help:
. • Expand client networks
. • Connect with business partners and resources
. • Engage with diverse and mainstream markets
This support is designed to strengthen competitiveness and long-term business growth.
Your feedback will directly influence the design of future business support services, training programs, and resource platforms. Based on survey responses, we will prioritize invitations for one-on-one support and specialized programs for businesses that best match program criteria (limited spots available, first come first served).
